Receiving a Gift

How will I know someone sent me a PlusGiftCard?
  • You'll receive an email, SMS message, or printed gift notice selected by the sender.
  • It includes the sender’s message and a secure link or Gift Claim Code.
Do I need a PlusGiftCard account to accept my gift?
  • Yes.
  • You need a free PlusGiftCard account to claim the gift into a secure Wallet and access redemption, re-gifting, Swap, and Trade features.
Why does PlusGiftCard send a secure gift link instead of a retailer gift card code?
  • The secure link protects the gift before it reaches the correct recipient and lets you choose when to place the value in your Wallet.
  • A retailer code is generated only when you're ready to spend.
